Only Watch 2011 is coming, the auction will take place in only 11 days. Today on Watchonista I came across some pictures taken at one of the Only Watch 2011 exhibition. I decided to share some of the pics, all credits go to our friend at Watchonista.

This « Pièce Unique » Cyrus Klepcys has been estimated 70 000 – 90 000€ by experts and collectors.

Yesterday, the Only Watch 2011 exhibition stopped at Los Angeles in Westime Beverly Hills. Our friend at ablogtoread.com took a few pictures of the watches. Not all watches are on the pictures but is a great occasion to see the timepieces.

Next stop : New York (September 12th), Milan (September 15th), Geneva (September 16th, 17th) and Monaco (September 21th, 22th, 23th).

As we have already seen Only Watch 2011 began its world tour several days ago. It has already been in Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and Tokyo !

Most of watches experts around the world have already noticed that the Patek Philippe ref 3939 and (maybe) the Richard Mille RM027 could be sold higher than expected (around 1 million). Due to the crisis we cannot say yet if the million will be in $, € or CHF

A watch like the Cyrus Klepcys Only Watch 2011 could easily be sold much more than expected since it has already triggered the interest of many collectors around the world. Highly complicated watch such as this one are what the asian market is looking for.

Don’t forget also that the winner of this « Pièce Unique » will be invited to Le Locle for a very unique experience. During this trip, he will be given his watch in the manufacture and will meet Jean-François Mojon and the watchmakers that developped the Cyrus Klepcys. All the Klepcys’ secret will be revealed to him, including a unique secret that has not been discovered yet.

Laurent Lecamp, CEO of Cyrus, also said that the future watch owner will have the opportunity to be part of the next Klepcys « conquest ».

Zenith is offering two timepieces to Only Watch 2011. The first one comes from the Captain Chronograph collection and is available in pink gold whereas the second one comes from the Pilot Chronograph collection.

Vulcain will be attending Only Watch 2011 with a reinterpretation of their Cricket watch. Vulcain was the first brand to produce a wristwatch with an alarm system. The alarm sounded like a cricket.

The masters of poetry are back with a new timepiece for Only Watch 2011. The Poetic Complication From the Earth to the Moon is truly fascinating.

The dial was made with different layers of agate, jade, meteorite, and champlevé-style enamel.

On the dial you will notice a flying aircraft, well… it is the flying minutes ! You will also notice that this is a retrograde movement, meaning that at 60 min the hand will jump back to the 0 min indicator. All of this is located on the right side of the dial.

Vacheron Constantin is making a truly beautiful and poetic watch for Only Watch 2011.

On the dial you will find red and white (colors of Monaco) birds. All the birds are displayed in some kind of puzzle leaving no space between them.
